If residents cannot access the NCDFR Online Burn Permit System, paper burn permits may still be obtained at either Station 15 or Station 51 from 8:00 AM until 5:30 PM.  Residents are responsible for making themselves aware of any conditions or burning bans in the area before any outdoor burning begins. These may be obtained by calling the Fire Department at 336-643-3783 or by using the Burn Announcements weblink located on the upper right side of the web site.  Please use common sense before burning outdoors.
