Professional Firefighting Career

We are seeking dedicated and courageous individuals to join our professional firefighting team. As a full-time member of the department, you will participate in critical emergency response, life-saving operations, and fire prevention initiatives within our community.

Minimum Requirements for Fulltime Firefighter
  • Minimum age of 18 years
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Valid NC driver's license (Class B within 180 days)
  • NC Firefighter I & II
  • NC Hazmat Level 1
  • NIMS 100, 200, 700 Certifications
  • EMT-Basic or higher certification
  • NC Emergency Vehicle Driver Certification
  • NC Technical Rescuer/VMR Certification (within 18 months)
